Marvin Ocampo
Marvin Ocampo writes many of our everyday mobility and posture guides - desk shoulders, stiff hips, the lower back that complains on long drives - and contributes to the pose library. He spent years working jobs that were hard on the body in opposite ways, first on his feet all day and then at a desk, and the beat grew out of trying to undo both. He favors the unglamorous approach: small drills, done often, progressed slowly. His drafts get the same treatment as everything else here - checked against the sources listed at the bottom before they go live - and he is quick to cut any exercise he cannot explain the reason for. If a guide of his feels modest, that is on purpose. Modest is what most bodies will actually do on a Wednesday, and Wednesdays are where posture is won.
