Aarti Deshpande
Aarti Deshpande covers food, Ayurveda, everyday routines, and our retreats coverage. She learned Ayurveda first as a family inheritance - a grandmother's kitchen, certain spices in certain seasons - and later as a subject to be read carefully. Ayurveda is a tradition, not a clinical science, and her pieces keep that line visible: what the tradition says, what research exists, and where the two part ways. She tests the routines she writes about inside her own ordinary weeks, which is why her advice tends to be small and repeatable rather than sweeping. Retreats get the same treatment - what a day actually looks like, what it costs, who it suits, and what you can realistically keep when you come home. The kitchen experiments fail more often than the articles let on, and she has made her peace with that.
