Von Mercado
Von Mercado contributes practice guides and the occasional piece on aging well. He favors the unglamorous fundamentals - consistency, rest, and doing less than you think you should - a philosophy he arrived at honestly, by overdoing it for years and being corrected by his own back. His practice these days is short, daily, and stubbornly boring, which he considers the whole point. On the practice desk he backs up Maelynn Aredidon, taking the guides about how to actually keep a practice going - what to do when you miss a week, how to practice in a small apartment, why the second month is harder than the first. His drafts run through the same source checks as everything else on the site. He has never once recommended a thirty-day challenge, and he does not intend to start now.
