This versatile yoga mat is made of is made of open cell, natural rubber. It is highly durable and has excellent traction even when wet from perspiration offering unequaled non-slip performance. Its natural rubber provides superior cushioning and resilience. The mat has a strong mesh on the inside so it It won�t tear or buckle. This mat is 3/16" which is a nice thickness.

Natural rubber is a renewable resource tapped from rubber trees and contains no ozone depleting substances � perfect for yoga practitioners concerned about the environment. Orchid is a deep fuscia dark pink shade. Fabulous colors with mats now available in green, purple, orchid, black, red and orange. I bought the thick mat and love the cushion under my head and heals. A new mat, however, it *is* slippery. Our yogi advises to STOP cleaning it (I can do that!) and to set it out in the sun. Any other tips to wear in a new Jade mat?

I just bought this mat and i love the way it feels. doing hot yoga is great for your body. Having a non slip mat makes it easier to use and i do not have to worry about slipping.

I bought the thickest Jade mat at the Midwest Yoga Conference. I have wanted a Jade mat from the moment I stepped on one at a training While it is a nice mat, it is not the right mat for me. It is just too soft. I cannot feel my feet ground and the texture seems rough. Perhaps the thinner one would have been a better choice for me. I love my old black sticky mat and have returned to it for teaching.
